Sprint LG G2 Review
Life is Good, and it just got better if you’re an Android fan. Our friends at Sprint let the Mushy Mamma, that’s me :) test out the LG G2 (full price 549.99), and I have to admit, I really don’t want to give it back.
Now I’m not a Android geek, but I currently use a Samsung Galaxy SIII and love it.
The LG G2 is thin, light, fast, and has a thin bezel which means it’s almost all screen (5.2 inches).
It took me a moment to get used to the power/standby and volume buttons which are on the back of the phone instead of the top or side, but other than that using it is a breeze.
The phone features some cool voice activation features including voice commands that allow you to take photos hands free. Want to take a selfie? (I am not into selfies but they are quite popular) Just say “cheese!” and the phone snaps a picture.
The battery is amazing. I don’t even remember having to charge it. It keeps going, and I haven’t had a battery is dying moment yet.
The screen is nice and bright. The LG G2 takes stunning 1080p video and boasts a 13-megapixel camera so you won’t miss any special moments.
I have to admit, my husband and I have been fighting over this phone. He’s a video geek and has been going crazy shooting videos with it. He even connected it to a tripod and a microphone up to it to show people how easy it is to make a good mobile video with an Android phone.
The phone also comes with an built in editing app that works pretty well. It allows you to edit a sequence together and add some basic titles without much hassle at all.
The LG G2 is a beast, but don’t take my word for it.
Disclosure: Sprint provided me with a Demo phone to test out, in order to write this review. No compensation was received, all opinions and words expressed are my own.
