Over the past few years I have really packed on the pounds. It is so easy to do. For me going to Fit to Fluffy happened very quickly. I would say it all began when I stopped working full-time to be a stay-at-home mom. Although I was busy tending to my family I did very little else. Also because I was tending to a newborn I found it hard to balance tending to baby and tending to myself. So of course baby comes first. So I often waited to eat until late at night when I knew my baby would be sleep a few hours so I could really relax and enjoy my meal. Food was a comfort thing fore me. Then since the experts say sleep when the baby sleeps I would then immediately crawl in bed as I was swallowing my last bite. So not good I know.
I have found that over the next years I still continued to eat late and eat foods that weren’t that nutritious because they were fast and heck quite delish if you ask me.
Once again the year is close to an end and I am realizing that I haven’t met my weight loss goal and it is disappointing. Everyone is always telling me if you want to change your body, you have change your mindset. I really sometimes think my thinking of “this weight loss is impossible” is really helping block my success.
I have recently begun a new fitness regimen and I have been going consistently even when I am feeling to lazy to go. What I am finding once I am their is that I am happy I went and that I am stronger than I give myself credit for.
Now that I have my fitness plan successfully in place. I now need to focus on a healthy low calorie diet in order for me to reach my goal. Starting this week I will reduce my daily caloric intake to 1200 calories a day. I will also make 4 out of the 7 days meatless days. I am a very big red meat eater so this is a major step. I also will be cutting out some of my faves which are soda, cheddar cheese, pasta, and white bread.
I recently learned of Herbal Magic Nutrition Centres and they focus on healthy weight loss. In fact they talk about stubborn belly fat, which is my main trouble spot. They have weight loss programs that target that area and help you lose belly fat for good.
I am really considering joining because I like that they have personalized support, use natural products and you get to eat real food. Eating real food is important to me because if I am going to cut back I want the calories I do be to be tasty. 🙂
I know I want to be healthier and I know what it is going to take. So now my mind has been set straight, I realize that no matter what I need to continue to make strides in order to reach my goal. I KNOW WHAT I WANT AND I KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE!
I will be fit again!
