CARE is celebrating 20 years in Atlanta with an Art exhibit, “Through the Eyes of a Girl.” This exhibit will be held on October 11, 2013 in Atlanta at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery and feature Artwork from schoolgirls around the world. CARE asked girls from Georgia, Ghana, Honduras, India and Madagascar to share their story through art. If you ask me… What better way to tell your story than through creativity of art. Through their own art, the girls opened their imaginations and gave us a glimpses of their lives and daily struggles. Art is a universal language that can be interpreted by all.
