Kroger Savings’ Kickoff #KitchentoKickoff #KrogerLowPrices #ad

I recently attended a event at Kroger for local bloggers, they invited us in to share with us some of the new changes being brought to Kroger.

The major change is that Kroger has changed and improved they way they will bring savings to you.  As September 22, 2013, Kroger is doing away with double coupons in all of their Georgia stores. They decided to take this step after doing some market research that revealed to them that their customers would benefit more in other ways.

Kroger will now bring you lower prices on more of your everyday items in fact they lowered prices on thousands of items. To highlight all the savings Kroger also changed it’s signage (pictured below) so savings are bright and visible.

What a more perfect of a time for Kroger to kickoff there new lower pricing than Football season.  Be sure to check out their weekly ads to see what deals you can on your Football day nibbles.

Kroger also recently launched a Facebook contest app, “Kitchen to Kickoff” for the kickoff of football season!

Kitchen to Kickoff Contest (#KitchenToKickoff) users have the chance to upload a photo of their best tailgating dish and include a description of their original recipe for the chance to win some awesome prizes. After their dish is uploaded, users can encourage friends, family and fans to vote for their dish. The winner at the end of each week with the most votes will receive a $1,000 KROGER gift card. We also have prizes for nine second place winners and nine third place winners each week as well.

Although this themed three week contest  is already in it’s second week, it’s not too late to win.

Here are your themes to enter the remaining weeks

Week 2: Main Dish (September 13 -18)
Week 3: Dessert (September 20 -25)

*Note you can only win once across the Kroger Family of Stores pages but can enter as many times as you wish.

Disclosure:  I received promotional items from Kroger in exchange for me sharing this information with my readers, however all opinions expressed are my own
