Smurfs 2 Video Game Review #smurfs2game

It’s on it’s way, and it’s SMURF-TASTIC! Ubisoft’s Smurfs 2 Video Game is on it’s way to stores and is available for Xbox360, PlayStation 3, and the Wii. There is also a version being developed specifically for the Nintendo DS, for people on the go.

The Smurf 2 Video Game is an action-adventure game where players can choose to be one of nine Smurfs such as Brainy, Clumbsy, or Vanity Smurf to journey through the enchanted forest and other lands defeating enemies such as the notorious Gargamel.  The game has 30 levels and 6 different environments.

I was sent a review copy of this game and I must say I really enjoyed it, and my 4 year-old son Devin liked it even more.   While some might think that he is too young to play video games I liked it for many reasons:

With this being his first time playing a console game, he was very excited and eager to learn how to play.  I like that the game kept him engaged with it’s interactive storytelling book along the way.  Devin was able to follow the story line, and he followed the directions which at his age can be a challenge.  I also liked that the Wii remote control seemed to help his hand eye coordination.

Devin and I really had a blast playing.  Check out our Smurfs 2 Video Game review video below.

If you and your family are into gaming this is a game you’ll surely enjoy. Smurfs 2 Video Game is available now and can be purchased at retail stores like Gamestop and you can even purchase online through Amazon.

Loved the video and Devin's concentration in the beginning and excitement towards the end! The game looks like a lot of fun. With so many levels, it just might be suitable for adults to play, too. I can't wait to try it!
