Celebrate Black History Month at Macy’s event in Honor of Gordon Parks

Come out to Macy’s Lenox,  for a spirited discussion on Gordon Parks’s influence on film and the future of African-American cinema with actor/director Eriq La Salle.

Gordon Parks who passed in 2006 was a groundbreaking American photographer, musician, writer and film director. He is known for many things including  his photographic essays for Life magazine and as the director of the 197o’s film, Shaft.

In honor of Gordon Parks,  join Macy’s in celebrating his life  by viewing iconic images in an photographic art installation featuring some of Gordon Parks’ most beloved works, such as American Gothic, Washington D.C. 1942.
