Zoës Kitchen is a Mediterranean-inspired quick service restaurant with customers’ dietary concerns in mind–nothing fried with gluten-free and vegetarian options. Zoës also keeps their recipes simple, everything is made with the freshest high quality ingredients and the majority of their meals are prepared daily right in house.
Zoës Kitchen is an Alabama based chain whose concept started in 1995, and now has over 70 locations in 12 different states. Just recently, I was invited along with a group of other bloggers to come review Zoës Kitchen at their new Cumberland location in Atlanta, Georgia.
The first thing I noticed about the restaurant was its simple, clean design with bold, bright colors. The feel of the space was so open and inviting and so was the restaurant’s General Manager, Blaine Bachman.
Blaine, took time to make sure we were all comfortable and then he began to tell us about the history of Zoës Kitchen and all about their concept and passion for offering simple, healthy, and delicious meals. In order for us to really understand what he was talking about it, we had to eat of course and experience things for ourselves.
Blaine wanted us to try some of the restaurant’s most popular menu items which included Hummas & Pita, Zoës Classic Greek salad, Marinated slaw, Pasta Salad, Roll-Ups (Spinach, Chicken, Steak), and their Kabobs (Chicken, Steak). Oh…and let me not forget we finished up with dessert which was their Ya Ya’s Chocolate cake which was so good. In fact, it was so good I kept thinking of it and went back for more.
Everything was awesome, so flavorful. My son pictured above isn’t a fan of most vegetables but he really enjoyed his Greek salad he even tried things he had never before. Of everything we tried I must say my favorites were the Steak and Mushroom roll-ups, Pasta Salad and the Classic Greek salad their House made dressing really set it off.
