Trunki travel companion: Melissa and Doug (Giveaway)

The holidays is a popular time for travel. The kids are out of school and what better time to take time off from work. Whether you going to grandma’s or staying in a hotel, I am sure we all can agree that we must bring things along to keep the kids entertained. So many times I go somewhere for vacation and I end up having to buy a toy or two because I didn’t bring any with me. Although there is so much you can do without toys to have fun with your child, truth is they miss their things.

Melissa and Doug’s Trunki travel suitcase is the perfect bag for you child to store all his or her things when traveling for the holidays or anytime.  Give you child the responsibility of packing anything that they want to bring along that will fit in their Trunki.  That way when you arrive to your travel destination, there is no need to try and find the nearest Walmart trying to find a toy for them.  You can also add a special touch because Melissa and Doug now offer personalized gifts.   They have a companion Trunki saddle bag that you can buy for your child and get personalized for an extra $1.99 letting them know this is all theirs.  How great is that!  This was your child will have a smaller bag of their own to bring on the plane or in the car with travel games and other little fun things.  Better then jamming toys in your purse, wouldn’t you say!

The Trunki is part of Melissa and Doug’s Terrific Twenty gift list.  Since they are such in the holiday spirit, they have decided to give one to one lucky reader of Mushy Mamma.

What would your child pack in his or her Trunki if they had one? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Disclosure: Melissa and Doug provided me with a free gift from their Terrific Twenty gift list as well as one for my giveaway.  However, all content and opinions expressed are my own.

My daughter would pack all her stuffies in it and my son would probably put an assortment of toys in it with paper and pencil. They are two and four. Thank you!

Each one of them would pack something different. My older three would definitely pack lots of books, my 7 year old artist would bring art supplies and legos, and my younger two would probably end up with a whole mix of "treasures." Whenever we travel, they get to bring a bag of things to keep them entertained, but a cool suitcase like this would be so much better than a bag!

Looks very functional . Love the color. I know my son who is six and my daughter who is 2 would both love a suitcase similar to this. I really like everything from Melissa and Doug.

My child would pack EVERYTHING!!! When something is missing in the house we go to my oldest child first and magically it appears from some random bag he has stored away!
