Stone Mountain Park is providing lots of fun this fall with during their 10th Annual Pumpkin Festival. The Pumpkin Festival provides lots of non spooky fun for families and children are encouraged to wear their costumes as they dance at the costume party or just parade around the stage.
Activities you can expect are, autumn inspired arts and crafts as well as storytelling, scavenger hunts where you can earn treats, and pie eating contests.
Don’t forget to pick that perfect pumpkin to bring home. There is so much you can do with it, you can carve it, bake a pie or even roast pumpkin seeds.
In addition to the Pumpkin Festival activities, tickets include admission to Stone Mountain Park’s most popular attractions such as the new Geyser Towers®, SkyHike®, Summit Skyride, Scenic Railroad, mini-golf and more. Guests can join Yogi Bear on his never-ending quest to find picnic baskets in Yogi Bear’s 4-D Adventure. On Saturdays, just after sunset, families may complete their outing by watching the famed Lasershow Spectacular™ in Mountainvision.

I love the cool, crisp air during the fall. Here in Georgia, it’s so muggy during the spring and summer!
What I LOVE BEST about the FALL SEASON is that the weather has cool off and you feel the most relaxed you have felted all year! Kids are back in school, and Christmas is soon coming!
The cooler weather is a perfect time to get outdoors, watch your kids play some sports with a nice hot cup of cider or tea! Yum!!!
Our family has yet to take advantage of events like this at stone mountain. It seems like an awesome family fun day!!!
